Santa Lanterns are a 360 degree printed lantern shaped as we imagine Santas head to be. Open it up and not only do you have the front of santas face but both ears on the side and his hat trailing down the back of the lantern.

We are based in Birkenhead, Auckland and dispatch daily. Most customers NZ wide receive their order in 2 working days.
For Auckland based customers it is usually next working day for orders placed before midday.

• North Island 1 – 2 days
• South Island 2 – 3 days
• Rural Addresses allow an extra 1-2 days (or have your order sent to a non RD address for quicker delivery)

Wish Lanterns are safe to use, however, as it involves a naked flame there are safety procedures that should be followed. Please ensure you read the instructions provided and are familiar with them before launching your Wish Lantern.

Considerations

• Always keep water or fire extinguishers nearby
• Notify you local Coastguard if using these in coastal locations
• Children must not be left unattended with the Sky Lanterns.
• Ensure that the wind is not stronger than 5 mph.
• Use care around dry crops.
• Ensure that trees are not in the flight path.
• Do not release within five miles of an airport.

Launching

1. Check wind direction
2. Ensure there are no obstacles in the way of the intended balloon flight
3. Ensure Wish Lantern is fully open and corners are not creased
4. Light the corners of the fuel
5. Hold the Wish Lantern upright and after a few seconds the Lantern will feel lighter and will gradually rise
6. Do not attempt to throw it up into the air, just guide it and let it go by itself
7. Stand back and watch it float up into the sky
8. Once the Wish Lanterns fuel cell has extinguished the lantern will float gently back to the ground
